28ft. FINESSE MASTHEAD CUTTER - Maurice Griffiths design, excellent example - Lying: South Coast - Guide: £10,950

28ft. FINESSE MASTHEAD CUTTER designed by Maurice Griffiths and built in 1986 by A F PLATT Boat Builders, Benfleet, Essex

BROKERS NOTE:

"MELYAR is the ideal vessel to enjoy the magic of the swatchways throughout the creeks and estuaries of the East Coast of England, lower Thames and Chichester Harbour.  The Finesse 28 offers good sailing performance and with her ample beam a generous interior for extended cruising, weekends and holidays afloat. The traditional lapstrake construction makes for a robust yacht with that unmistakable 'chuckle' from the bow as she cuts through the water. One of the best examples of her type and well presented in fourteen-year ownership"

Over the years the well-built, quality vessels became so popular that Alan extended the range from the initial Finesse 21 to a 24ft, 27ft and finally during the 1980s the Finesse 28 to a design by the well respected Maurice Griffiths. Only eleven Finesse 28s were built in total, MELYAR is hull number five, launched in 1986.
