HISTORY & DESCRIPTION:

CHANCER was most likely built in the 1930s in Belfast as a fishing boat but by the end of the 20th Century, she was being used by the Port Authority as a ‘Line Boat’, used in rough weather to bring mooring lines ashore from large vessels so they could winch themselves in. Auctioned in Belfast Docks,  she was bought by the Baltimore Harbour Master and transported to Southern Ireland. The current owners bought her some twenty years ago and had her re-fitted by Old Court Boats, Baltimore, Southern Ireland.

CHANCER has been laid-up ashore for over four years and now requires some re-commissioning.
