HISTORY & DESCRIPTION:

A top quality cruising yacht to Lloyds 100A1, designed and built for Eric Curry of Poole by Kim Holman & Purbrook & Rossiter of Christchurch in June 1963.

Owned by Eric Curry of Parkstone throughout the 1960’s and 70’s and thereafter in the 1980’s by Mr & Mrs Peter Wenham of Poole, where she was also stationed. During this time she was sailed around Britain as documented in the RCC Journals.Purchased by the present owner in 1983 when being surveyed for the continuance of Lloyds 100A1 class. She has been sailed over the past thirty years to Northern Europe, Atlantic Coats of Spain and Portugal, and through the Med and Aegean Seas.

Iroko planked topsides with pitch-pine strakes below the waterline which was cascover sheathed from new, all copper fastened to steam bent oak timbers. Teak laid deck over marine-ply sub deck. Varnished teak cabin and cockpit coamings and teak brightwork.

Bermudian Sloop Rig:
Aluminium alloy 37ft 6ins, keel stepped mast and 16ft boom. 700 sq ft plain sail, Norths terylene sails about 2005, slab main reefing. Stainless steel standing rigging.

Beta 35hp four-cylinder diesel fitted new in 2010. 27-gallon fuel tank. Bronze three-bladed propeller with ss shaft. Average speed 6.5 knots. 130 engine hours from new. Two batteries (2015 & 2013) 12-volt electrics and 240-volt shore power.

Traditional well-planned accommodation with varnished teak joinery and white enamel finished woodwork. Teak and Holly cabin sole.
Berths for six in two cabins. Webasto heating (requires new fan)
Fore Cabin with two single berths to port and starboard. Chain locker and fore hatch. Heads compartment.
Saloon with four berths, two settee berths and quarter and roote berths. Centre table and chart table.
Galley with Plastimo two burner cooker with oven. Fridge, stainless steel sink, four pantry and crockery lockers. Three fire extinguishers, 35-gallon fresh water capacity in two tanks.
