Munroe was a well known yacht designer, the Egret 28 soon became one of the most famous boats of its time.

‘Floret’ was professionally built by Carl Pickhardt of New York State between 1995 and 1997, she was then shipped to her first owner in Tampa, Florida.  In 2002 ‘Floret’ was bought by new owners in Miami, they had little time for sailing and after a transfer to Seattle sold the boat in 2006 to the present owner after a boat builder and associate of Reuel Parker had inspected the vessel.  After a seasons sailing in Florida Keys ‘Floret’ was transported to Holland in 2008 where she in currently sailed on the Haringvliet about twenty miles from Rotterdam.

Brokers Comments:

An attractive weekender or day sailer offered in perfect order, dry stored and built in excess of marine specifications.  A great shoal-draught vessel which will sail in less than a foot of water but with centre-board down a superb and able estuary and coastal vessel.  Offered at a fraction of new build cost and ready to sail with recent trailer and outboard motor.
