HISTORY & DESCRIPTION:

A stylish and attractive Clipper Ketch designed by John Alden in the late 1960’s and moulded by Gweek Quay, Helston in 1998, design number 1008, RCD Category A.  First registered in May 1998 and moved by road to Spain in May 1999 where the fit-out was completed. Purchased by the current owner in Spain in 2003 and sailed for the first time back to the UK. An easily managed, well balanced ketch rig ideal for short-handed sailing.
GRP moulded hull, epoxy sheathed from new and re-epoxied in 2013, creating an extremely fair hull. Cedar epoxied decks, encapsulated lead ballast keel.

75hp Yanmar four cylinder diesel with turbo charger. Shaft drive – Variprop 4-bladed feathering propeller. (2005).
75 Kgf Vetus Bow thruster (2003). Engine room ventilation fan. Spare 3 bladed fixed propeller.
