HISTORY & DESCRIPTION:

Maria Galante was designed by the famous English naval architect (Jack) Laurent Giles of Lymington, Hampshire and built in 1962 by Cantiere Navale di Sturla in Italy.

Traditional carvel mahogany planked hull, copper fastened to oak timbers.  Teak decks and mahogany superstructure. Mahogany fitted accommodation with two cabins plus saloon with berths for four/six. Generous galley, heads compartment with shower.  Large centre cockpit with wheel steering.
Perkins 93hp diesel engine. 350 litres fuel capacity.  12 /220 volt electrics with two batteries and charger.  600 litres fresh water capacity with pressurized hot water system.

Inventory includes: Electric windlass, two anchors and chain, liferaft, compass, sounder, vhf, gps, portable generator, tender, fenders, mooring warps, electric fridge, three burner gas cooker with oven, manual and electric bilge pumps, cockpit cushions, bathing ladder, sun shade, gangway.
Mainsail, genoa, spinnaker.

BROKERS NOTE:

A top quality bermudian sloop / motor-sailer from the board of one of the Uk’s finest designers. Maintained in good order with a full re-fit in 2009.  An attractive and comfortable yacht for passage making or exploring the Med.
