HISTORY & DESCRIPTION:
The Norwegian naval architect Colin Archer (1832-1921) needs little introduction as the forefather of rescue boat design, which transferred to the sea-kindly and capable yachts from his drawing board. RS12 ‘SVOLVAER’ was built in 1898 and her lines have been used to create a weatherly yacht with rugged good looks. This ferro steel example was built in Germany in 1993 and fitted-out by the present owners.
