HISTORY & DESCRIPTION:
KALLISTRA was designed and built in Germany to a traditional counter-stern classic style and launched in 2006. During 2019/20 the yacht has been the subject of a refurbishment project in East Cowes. A substantial scaffold roof protected KALLISTRA during the deck and superstructure re-finishing. The moulded GRP hull is prepared for final spraying to a buyers choice of colour. Some deck work still to complete and rig to set up.
Originally schooner rigged with timber masts and spars, no sails or rig currently.
Stylish high-end mahogany panelled interior offering accommodation for eight in four ensuite cabins. Large saloon with Woodburner and diesel heating throughout. Master double stateroom aft. Galley with electric oven, fridge/freezer and sink unit.
270hp MANN 6 Cylinder DIESEL ENGINE (fitted new 2000) only about 90 recorded hours. Cruising speed 8 knots, maximum 12 knots. 200-gallon fuel capacity in two tanks. 240-volt electrics, two batteries.
