HISTORY & DESCRIPTION:

Pelican is an attractive pocket-cruiser built to a traditional shoal-draught design by a local Lympstone boatbuilder in 1993 /94. She is ideal suited to the River Exe and for estuary and coastal cruising.
Carvel timber planked hull, GRP sheathed from new, marine-ply decks and painted timber coachroof and cabin coamings.
Gaff Cutter Rig with 26ft deck stepped timber mast, 14ft boom a 5ft bowsprit.  Three Rousell sails.
8hp Honda out-board motor fitted in a transom well, 1990, last serviced 2011, approx 150 hours. 30 litre fuel tank capacity. 12 volt electrics with solar panel generator.
Below decks the open-plan dinette accommodation provides two settee berths to port and starboard with infill forward.
Galley to starboard with gas cooker and sink.  10 gallons fresh water capacity. Pantry and crockery lockers.  Heads compartment with marine pump-out wc. Aft cockpit with port and starboard locker seats, transom hung rudder with tiller steering.
VHF, GPS, Compass, Sounder, Distance / Speed Log.
CQR anchor, mooring cover, bathing ladder, beaching legs, three bilge pumps, fenders and warps, three life jackets, flares.
