HISTORY & DESCRIPTION:

JUNO was built to Lloyds specification 1417 on 28/02/1967 by Halmatic Ltd of Havant. A Mark One moulded fibreglass hull, number 0838. She was fitted out as a luxury motor-yacht by R Burge & Co. Kingston-Upon-Thames and launched in 1968 as ALYTRA for Charles Allen of Bury Farm, Edgeware, Surrey. Registered in London, official number 335734. Her second owner Barry Andrews who lived on Ham Island re-named the vessel WAYWARD WENCH. The current owner bought the vessel on the River Thames about 12 years ago and had work undertaken by specialist classic boat restorers Michael Dennett. Re-named JUNO the current owner with his family embarked on many an epic voyage covering thousands of miles through the inland waterways of Europe.

Quality moulded semi-planing hull. Vessel fully re-furbished 2011. Bronze screwed, teak laid decks and solid mahogany varnished superstructure and brightwork all finished in Coelan in Summer 2018. Underwater hull finished in Copper Coat, Summer 2018. Comfortable, well-planned, light accommodation, teak fitted, ideal for extended cruising or for living aboard. Four berths in two cabins plus saloon settee/berths. 6ft 2ins headroom throughout. Webasto blown air central heating. 240-volt shore power. Re-wired during re-fit in 2011.

Large Deck Saloon: Comfortable settees, re-upholstered Summer 2018. Excellent chart table with drawers below. Built-in lockers and shelving.

Spacious Galley: Gas cooker and hob, sink unit, microwave, Waico fridge/freezer, LED lighting, work surfaces with pantry and crockery lockers below.

Aft Stateroom: Double berth with memory foam mattress having holding tank beneath.

Shower/Heads Compartment: Electric WC.

Fore Cabin: Two single berths, well over 6ft long.

Inside helm position to port with full instrumentation including AIS, 2 M-Tech and MT 500 VHF Radios both with ATIS numbers. Reversible cradle for use on the fly-bridge helm.

PAIR 115hp TURBO-CHARGED NANNI DIESEL ENGINES fitted new 2008. About 650 recorded engine hours. Last serviced September 2016 (about 45 hours since) Four large 12-volt domestic batteries (2018) configured for 24 volts. Two 12 volt 105 engine starting batteries, 12-volt battery for instruments. Bronze three-bladed propellers. Cruising speed 8 knots. Maximum speed unknown but over 15 knots recorded on a Netherlands Lake. 695 litres fuel capacity.
150 litres freshwater capacity in high-quality HCL flexible tanks. Large holding tank.
